This course is designed to teach the student how to implement a Linux-based firewall. This course is designed for experienced Linux and networking professionals who are responsible for configuring and maintaining a Linux-based firewall.

- Configure packet filtering and network address translation
- Configure socks and proxy services
- Configure DNS on a firewall
- Configure E-mail forwarding on a firewall
- Configure Virtual Private Networking
- Configure and use hackers’ tools
- Detect and counter firewall intrusions
